This is Conan who sadly recently lost his friend, Buster. They were placed thru the rescue two times over several years, and for the usual reasons, came back. He now has other friends and is a really nice boy. He could use a Deslorelin implant and as you can see, loves big fuzzy blankets. He is quite the ham!

Angel is a very special little girl. I got a very distressed call from an owner many hours away that had a very sick ferret, no money and no ferret vet near by. Luckily, transport was arranged and I expected the worst. What I got was a bright-eyed skeleton whose rear leg had been broken and some point. She sleeps with this leg behind her head at times. She gets around great and took my heart right away. I took her into work, ran bloodwork and started her on various meds. Within the next week, I had a new ferret and though she’s had one or two episodes of diarrhea, she’s doing great. She loves to run backwards with ping pong balls. She also loves any small toy that is safe for infants.

Harley is a beautiful, petite black roan mitt. Her owner lost her home and had to surrender all 4 ferrets. She and her friend, Taz, are older but still active. She loves large hammocks that swallow her up!! She also is a ferretone addict. She is on the surgery list for a large mass on the back of her neck.

Panda came in recently with another ferret that I placed several years ago and the owner could no longer care for them. He had to have his eye removed due to a severe infection, but that hasn’t slowed him down. He is on pred for insulinoma and has recently developed adrenal disease. He’s on the list for a Deslorelin implant. He loves to run thru tubes and loves ping pong balls.

Destiny is an older girl that gets along with others. She was found as a stray and is so sweet. She is on pred for insulinoma. She loves large cuddle sacks to share with her other friends.

Bob has a sad story. His owner lost his home and could no longer care for Bob (or himself). He was supposed to be about 1 year old, but I suspect he is a bit older. He lives with a group of 3 others and plays well with another group of 3. Recently, he’s become a bit aggressive and is on the list for a Deslorelin implant.

Eve was previously named Evil and that just isn’t true. I’m not sure why they couldn’t handle her because she is just young and full of energy. She gets along well with others and was born in March 2010.

Rice was found in Lancaster, Pa with a group of 3 others. She was VERY thin and bloodwork showed that she has insulinoma. She has since gained weight and is doing much better. She’s quite active and likes everyone.
