Conner and Murray

Conner and Murray were left at  the SPCA in Delaware.  Their owners split up and neither wanted the ferrets.  Conner was born late  2008 and Murray was born late 2010.  They are a great pair.  Murray is a bit smaller, and needs a lot of TLC during any transition.

Its been a little while since you heard from us.  We hope your
Holidays were great!  Its time to start raising money for
Oxford Ferret Rescue.

We have a lot of great things planned this year so far.

Our 1st fund raiser of the year is our Log Cabin Candy fund raiser.
This is a family owned candy company located in Fallston, Md.
They will make the candy when our order is turned in so you
know the candy you purchase will be fresh and made to
order AND it will help us raise money for the ferrets!!!!
I have the brochures and prices so let me know if you
would like a brochure I can mail it to you, or if you
prefer you can pick them up from Claudia at Chadwell
Animal Hospital.  We will run this fund raiser from now
till Feb. 24 and delivery would be the 2nd week in March.

We will be having another bowling event in Feb. or March,
confirmation date to follow.
We will also be selling Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, Popcorn
Palace Popcorn and Pizza over the next months!!!
And dont forget our annual Family Fun Day at the Cecil
County Fairgrounds in May!!!!!
So please look for my emails.

Claudia has taken in 12 ferrets in the last week!!!  Its a crazy
world we live in where everything is expendable no matter
what.  No animal’s life is worth much and our beloved ferrets
seem to have the lowest worth of any animal!  The dumping never
ends, SPCAs are overflowing and euthanizing at astounding
rates, and personal shelters are bursting at the seams!!!
Claudia needs our help raising money for all the ferrets she
has in her care.  Most of us could never do what she does day
in and day out.  She gives every minute of every day for the ferrets
she cares for that people just threw away.  She never has a day
off, she never gets to sleep in late, she never has a day where
she doesnt worry about this sick ferret or that one.  But we
can help!!!  We can continue to raise money and help pay off
her vet bill so she can at least have a little less worry!
I am asking everyone this year to help us raise money for
Oxford Ferret Rescue by participating in our fund raisers.
Every dollar helps!  If you buy 1 item or 50 it all helps.
So please help us help the ferrets in Claudia’s care!!!
